Cornwall Rental Properties
Cornwall is a perfect holiday destination whatever the time of year. Great for young families, couples and even surfers, there is something for everyone.
Cornwall’s coast has miles of golden sand, rugged cliffs and fishing villages but inland there are pretty villages galore and who could ignore Bodmin Moor which contains the highest land within Cornwall.
The north and south coast’s are very different but both areas are worth a visit. The north is more exposed and has a wilder more rugged landscape. On the north there are two river estuaries Hayle Estuary and the River Camel – which provides a safe harbour for Padstow and Rock. The area of Rock is popular with holidaymakers and is a fantastic base for people interested in watersports. It’s a short ferry trip away from Padstow – which has been made famous by celebrity chef Rick Stein who lives and has businesses in the town.
Also in the North is the seaside town of Bude. The small resort is perfect for people looking for a relaxing getaway which benefits from two beaches.
Newquay is also a popular choice with families and of course surfers. It is known as being the Surf Capital of Britain and is a perfect choice for people wanting to test the waves.
Like everywhere, the further south you go the warmer the climate and many people head down to Falmouth. The University town can get busy with students but may be the perfect getaway for people looking for a livelier vibe to their holiday.
Cornwall is an area stepped in culture and it is a proud Celtic nation where some residents still speak “Cornish” to this day. It has its own celebrated food and any visitor would be advised to try a traditional Cornish pasty or sit down for an afternoon cream tea complete with scones and jam but remember when in Cornwall the jam goes on first and the clotted cream on top!
